Housos

He’s certainly not everybody’s cup of tea, but you have to admire Paul Fenech’s creative persistence. You have been warned. 10pm Monday on SBS ONE.

  1. I am not young but reckon I know a good comedy when I see it and I love Houso’s.
Last night’s episode was so funny and set in Thailand and through all of the foul language there seems to be heroism and true grit on a grand scale the way that group handled the Terrorists and those phone calls home were one of the funniest comedy situations I have ever seen (must admit I loved Fat Pizza too). Like the way the girls Shazza and Co. reacted to the terrorists was classic and real Aussie cheek and stuff being frightened sort of thing with machine guns and all threatening them – it went right over their heads and querying whether Dad wasn’t answering so must be at Centrelink was all so funny and the terrorists getting frustrated not quite knowing just who they were dealing with. Like the group were terrorizing the terrorists not the other way around and one of the group spaced out on drugs. And the Govt. dept hanging up when whoever answered the phone found out they were from Sunnyvale a location that even the cops are frightened of. It is hard to maintain comedy but this show is f……ing brilliantly put together.
