Sorry people…. there’s just no avoiding it this week.

It’s designer handbags at ten paces this week as media step up the scoops on Kim Kardashian in the wake of her marriage fallout.

Kardshian arrived in Sydney this morning surrounded by paparazzi and security. She has issued a statement denying her marriage to Kris Humphries was a stunt.

“First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!,” she said in part.

Meanwhile, Angela Bishop looks set to have the first television interview with KK, set to air during TEN News this afternoon.

Austereo’s Kyle and Jackie O appear to have the first interview of them all (scheduled ten minutes before Bishop’s piece), while Sunrise will have her first Live TV interview tomorrow morning after 8am.

Think it’s going to be a long week…

  2. The miserable, no smiles, no energy look that Kim is sporting is very, very unattractive… and not at all a good look for selling anything.
    It makes her look like it is all put on… though she is really trying to look like she is sincerely upset … what a mess!
    “Follow your heart, follow your heart” she says … how about using a bit of “common sense” mixed in with that?

  3. Watched KK on Sunrise. I know not much about her and just do not get it. Kochie and Mel did their best but it was very boring TV. Bring back Paris Hilton, at least she can smile.

    The Kardashians job is self promotion – and they are very good at it.

  14. Ten News? It’s sad that an interview with a reality-TV “celebrity” now qualifies as “news”.

    As others have suggested, surely the interview would be a better fit for The Project or whetever the 7pm Project is now calling itself at 6:30pm.

  16. I am kinda smiling….the poll on the home page….I nearly answered No…but then answered yes….as I realised….that I….like many others commenting on these pages….who say they do not care and are not interested…..are still coming in and commenting on everything Kardashian…. 😀

  23. The Project needs a real shot in the arm right now, this could have been it. seems a bit wasted on ten news. (which is also struggling, but not the priority)
