  1. I have a Sony Bravia and pick it up no problem. Its an advertising channel for those who like to watch these expanded infommercial segiments. I thought it was another community channel starting like Bris31. Well Bris31 has polished itself over the years and at times has some good shows.
No doubt the other networks will start to copy Seven with these advertising channels. Soon movie channels and whatever else comes along. I enjoy the variety of channels we have now without having to pay for them.

  2. 2 new Tvs and can’t get channel74 !
Can this sitiuation extend to other channels????
At no stage have I seen any warning of another format?
Has it been common knowledge and i missed it?
    Worried from Annerley

  3. Seems the guys at TV4ME cant be too serious about getting there channel out there. As mentioned it’s MPEG 4 vision which a lot of TV’s,set top boxes and PVR’s wont see. I can get it on my Sony Bravia TV but not on any other equipment in the house. Most people won’t bother upgrading for this style of channel so change the broadcast to MPEG2 vision and everyone can see it!

  4. Ye mate who is stupid ? it against the law to advertise grog during children’s TV time and to show women getting drunk at a pre wedding girls night out might be fun for you guys, but little children do not need to see this, as well as being shown how to use a naked flame to melt candles All on TV4Me this morning December 5th

  5. OK I fixed my sound problem after reading some of the comments on here. Switched off the TV at the mains for 5 mins. Turned back on and sound ok for all normal digital channels.. phew! Still no picture on TV4me 74. Went into settings and told the TV to scan for mpeg 4 channels. It said ok switch me off and i’ll find them on restart. Did that and hey presto I can now see channel 74 TV4me. But it has no sound. After a quick look at what is on it which is a bunch of weird looking women turning Tarot cards over and asking $5.45 a minute to do it i don’t think I care. lol.

  6. I can get TV4ME on 2 out of 3 tv’s in the house. One HD tv is a couple of years old, and the other is an old tv with a set top box. The other one though is only a couple of months old, and I get absolutely nothing, very annoyed that the tv is practically brand new and yet cant get it. I have enjoyed watching some of the shows especially scrapbooking and the psychic show. I hope the problem is rectified asap, and hope it doesnt happen with any future channels. Thanks Carol.

  7. Turned on my 50″ Panasonic plasma and got the message there is a new channel would you like to add it? .. OK away we go. It picks up the new TV4me but I can’t see any picture . . just a no video logo. No big deal .. but now every other channel’s sound is screwed. I have re-scanned about 5 times and it is stuffed. What is going on?

  8. – My parents have a Sony Bravia TV and I have a PVR that works. It seems to be that Plasma TV’s can’t handle it so it puts it on ”No Video”. Every single family member has a Panasonic TV that all don’t work.

    – I wonder what they will do in the future

    – I hope that every Channel from now on don’t do what TV4ME or maybe it might be the Seven Network.

    – This Channel won’t get axed because it is permanently on the Freeview List. From 2014 there will be so many Channels that you won’t need Foxtel

  9. Hi, I have a Hitachi Full HD 50″ Plasma, when channel scrolling up or down & get to new TV4ME channel I loose all sound, picture is fine. Problem is that when I scroll to the next channel I still have no sound. I have to turn the TV off & on to reset sound. Unfortunately I cannot set up a skip channels function on this TV.
How long will the test go for & is there any contact I can make anywhere to try to resolve this problem. Cheers, Matt.

  10. I live in Hervey bay Qld and I have a LG 42 inch model 42 P20D which is only just 3 years old and I cannt get TV4ME. It shows a black screen and says HD service. I have tried on my other TV’s but none get it. they all are only a few years old. My main concern is if I get this channel I might not be able to get others in the future. A friend can get it ok. Has anyone any ideas please.

  11. @Merrick Edwards- I’ve also got a Panasonic TV it does the same thing and it means that you will need to have to buy another TV for it. It works on a PVR.

  12. I have Panasonic DMR-XW300. It will not show any video on 74 TV4ME. It just shows a “No Video” Message. I can see the signal as being strong in quality and strenght. I can also see the future programs. have retuned several times. Our TV picks up 74 TV4ME ok. Any suggestions

  13. Calm down , it’s not an infomercial channel…. they are testing it with infomercials. If any of you can actually read, you would have seen that the content for this new will be “lifestyle, finances, community, education and shopping”.
Honestly the way people carry on about this sort of stuff baffles me. Why the hell do you need to rubbish any or every attempt at something different? If you can’t be bothered to read up a little before spewing your useless crap, then what chance do we have. How about giving some of the useful feedback that the guys at channel 7 require to make the test successful?
Example 1. Hey, I have no sound…is it something wrong with my gear, or is this a known problem??? Example 2. Hey, I can’t seem to get the picture on this new channel, for when you put on your fantastic new content, is there something that my simple little Bogan mind set can do to make it right???
Feel free to slag away, I was simply coming on here to find out a little about the newly discovered channel, and I for one would like to thank all of the networks in providing us with some great (always improving), Free TV choices. I can’t wait to see this final product, and well done. Don’t let the negative comments deter you from giving it your all.
    Regards,

  14. If you don’t like don’t watch it.

It amuses me those who cannot pick up the channel. You obviously have not done your home work when you purchased your last TV or set top box.

My TV tune in channels automatically when a new channel is added, I only watch what I want to on TV. Yes there is a lot of crap on TV, but I don’t watch it.

Common you Aussie Norms, get of the couch and go for a walk, and stop your winging. You will feel better for it. You are obviously depressed watching TV.

  15. Ok, I can live with a channel dedicated to commercials, but in fairness, the 7 Network should remove infomercials from their late night/early morning slots and broadcast proper television. As a shift-worker, there isn’t much choice in the wee hours. Maybe 7 could do what they do on 7mate and repeat some of the prime time shows between 12 and 4am.

p.s. ….not liking a particular channel is the easiest problem you’ll ever have to solve.

  16. Awesome, here I was thinking that most people skipped the ads if they recorded something, or went to make a coffee when they came on…

And now an almighty 24/7 advert channel!

Groovy, but I want to punch media centre on the nose for forcing me to navigate it’s terrible interface to remove this amazing new channel…

    Whatajoke…
