NCIS: Hawaii has been axed after three seasons.
Currently airing its third season in the USA, a season finale to screen in early May will now serve as the series finale.
NCIS: Hawaii was the fourth series in the NCIS franchise following NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Los Angeles, both of which have concluded
That leaves the original NCIS and Australia’s own NCIS: Sydney, renewed for a second season, as ongoing propositions, plus a prequel series about a young Jethro Leroy Gibbs, in the pipeline.
NCIS: Hawaii is still drawing 10 million viewers an episode over 35 days of cross-platform viewing and will likely end up as the most watched show to be cancelled this season in the US.
NCIS: Hawaii focused on Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey), and featured NZ’s Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson, and Kian Talan.
It screens in Australia on 10.

That’s disappointing. I really liked NCIS: Hawaii.
As well as NCIS: Origins, there is a spin-off mini series featuring Tony and Ziva which will film in Budapest later this year.
Paramount+ is writing down the value of it’s programming by $US 800m and spent $US 200m on restructuring to reduce costs a head of sale. And I guess the cost of filming in Hawaii have caught with the TV show where as Australia is heavily subsiding NCIS: Sydney. Paramount+ is $US 14b in debt.
