2010 X Factor champion Altiyan Childs has been fined $600 plus court costs following a drug-related driving offence.
Childs, real name Altiyan Juric, pleaded guilty in Taree Local Court this week to having both drugs in his system while driving a car in early November.
He was also disqualified from driving for six months.
Childs was convicted in 2008 on charges of mid-range drink driving, resisting or hindering police and proceeding through a red/yellow traffic light.

wow you’d think a man with so many opportunities and doors opening would stuff it up so badly…..he doesn’t deserve the fame or fortune.
I wonder what his 19 year old girlfriend will think of this.
I liked Altiyan on XF two years ago but his star has surely faded. His latest song No Ordinary Man didn’t even crack the top 35 ARIA singles chart, despite him performing it on the X Factor results show in front of 1.4 million+ people.
There’s no way he’ll release a second album on a major label, especially after putting peoples’ lives at risk by driving with drugs in his system. I agree with Todd, Sony would be bonkers to keep him after this.
Wow. I think he may have just ran out of second chances! Surely Sony will dump him after this?
