Charges dropped against Dan Ewing

NSW Police have dropped charges against Home and Away actor Dan Ewing, who had been charged with assaulting fiance Marni Little.

Police were called to a domestic dispute in Fairlight in early December. Police alleged Little suffered superficial injuries to her arm.

Police also imposed an AVO against the 26-year-old as precautionary protection for Little.

But last month in Manly Local Court Little declined to testify against him.

Police have since dropped the case citing a lack of evidence to prosecute.

“We can confirm that the common assault charges against a 26-year-old Fairlight man will be dropped as it’s no longer a police investigation,” a police spokeswoman said.
