Acclaimed SBS drama East West 101 has secured more international sales.
The first season will launch on French / German broadcaster Arte France in April.
TVO Canada, which has already screened earlier seasons, has picked up the third season. Season Three will also air on Australia Network across Asia and the Pacific Islands.
All three seasons have also been sold to US public broadcaster, MHz Networks based in North Virginia.
East West 101 has also been nominated for a number of AACTA Awards next week including Best Television Drama Series, Best Lead Actor (Dan Hany), Best Supporting Actor (Aaron Fa’aoso) and Best Supporting Actress (Rena Owen).
Hannah Worrall, Director of Sales at distributor Target says: “East West 101 is a thought-provoking drama that resonates with viewers around the world. Securing a US broadcast deal is a significant step in taking the show global and we are thrilled that it will be seen by audiences in Europe and across Australasia later this year as well.”
