FOX Sports tomorrow will broadcast what it claims is a world first in football broadcasting.
Gold Coast United Coach Miron Bleiberg will become the first football coach in history to wear a live microphone throughout a match.
Viewers will hear his pre-game and half-time addresses to his squad and he will be wired to the commentary box to speak Live with FOX Sports commentators to explain substitutions and tactical changes whilst the game unfolds.
Head of FOX Sports Channels, Gary Burns, “This has never been attempted before in football broadcasting and mirrors what we have done with the Big Bash League this summer, where we’ve seen the remarkable effect of having players wired up during genuine competition.
“We’ve had Shane Warne explaining what deliveries he’s going to bowl and his plans for different batsmen during the Big Bash and it’s something we hope to replicate in football and all sports. Miron is generally regarded as one of the more forward-thinking coaches in the competition and our viewers will be able to experience the game through his eyes.”

Completely agree with Rutzie and Madame Tango. Bleiberg was the best pick for this experiment – if it doesn’t work with him, it never will.
lol this should make for very interesting television – Miron is certainly one of the games major characters!!
Considering Miron Bleiberg is a bit of a loose cannon this should be interesting.
