The much-anticipated third season of Tangle will debut on Showcase from March.
All principal cast members return for the third season, joined by guest star Dan Wyllie (Love My Way, Animal Kingdom).
“Tangle is firmly in the vein of Love My Way – a seminal and incredible experience for me and it is a joy to be part of an evolving tradition of Australian television of such high calibre,” he said.
“I am really in awe of the cast, the incredible direction and writing. I am over the moon to be joining the show and I am looking forward to working with the inimitable Kat Stewart of whom I am a massive fan.”
While Season One explored interconnected family life across the two generations, Season Two looked at what happened to this tangled web when confronted by tragedy.
Season Three will pull apart and look at just how the generations separate from one another and how the ties of family are stretched.
Tangle stars a stellar ensemble cast including Justine Clarke (Love My Way, Look Both Ways), Kat Stewart (Offspring, Underbelly), Catherine McClements (Rush, Water Rats), Matt Day (Spooks, My Year Without Sex), Kick Gurry (The Line Red Line, Sea Change), Joel Tobeck (Sons of Anarchy, City Homicide), Jane Allsop (The Slap, Rush) Lincoln Younes (Home and Away), Blake Davis (The Slap, Rush), Eva Lazarro (Underbelly, Blessed), Lucia Emmerichs (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries) and Georgia Flood (City Homicide).
Sunday, March 25 at 8.30pm.

thanks for the spoiler Laura! pfffffffft!!!!
Spoiler? It was about 2 years ago!
Tangle must be the most intelligent and well produced show of the last ten years. I want more of this on our televisions. I will be tuning in on March 25.
Thank gosh, I’ve been wondering when it’s going to be on! Hopefully, Foxtel will come to its sences and move showcase to the Drama & Lifestyle package, away from showtime premiere, showtime action, showtime comedy and showtime drama!
So looking forward to this. Tangle is one the most sophisticated Australian dramas ever made.
Love, love, love this series.
Love it. Still wish they hadn’t killed off Ben Mendelsohn though
Best Australian television. Cannot wait for the return.
Love it.
I must be feeling anti-local right now, again like Cloudstreet I just didn’t get it, though I’ll continue to watch it.
Friggin hell…Tangle one of the best ever tv series we have produced…Period!
Fantastic! Love this show!
Jane Allsop would be one of Aussie TVs most stunning women. Looking forward to the return.
Best news I’ve had all year. Can’t wait.
