Seven weather girl gets drenched

Seven weather girl. Perfect one minute. Perfectly wet the next.

Seven News weather presenter Sarah Cumming inadvertently gave a first-hand account of the torrential rain during a live cross last night.

Standing dry beside the Bellingen River in northern NSW, she told Chris Bath she was looking like a drowned rat.

As she proceeded with her weather report the screen ran through the usual weather maps and graphics.

But by the time viewers caught sight of her again, the dishevelled Cumming was suddenly soaked to the skin.

“Chris, while I was reading that my shelter collapsed on me, so I’m going to look for another shelter, and a hot cup of tea.”

  1. Is there a reason the weather is still so drawn out, and unless you happen to be a meteorologist, nonsensical for the most part? Finance news used to be similar but only really the ABC still bothers to go into depth anymore.

  2. Well I guess that’s better than the idiot weather reporters who deliberately go out into the middle of flooded streets and such for their reports. She still looks very pretty wet 🙂
