iCarly stars host ‘Best Frenemies’ marathons

iCarly stars Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress will host afternoon marathons of their show for Aussie audiences from next week.

They filmed special footage when they were in Australia to host the Kids’ Choice Awards last October. The marathons, exploring Sam and Freddies’  ‘frenemy’ relationship, will culminate with brand new episodes from season four at 5.30pm weekdays.

Jennette and Nathan will give insight to their thoughts on Sam and Freddie’s jinxed journey from barely tolerating each other to becoming ‘SEDDIE’ (Sam plus Freddie equals ‘SEDDIE’). Their feisty friendship takes an unexpected turn towards romance in the brand new episodes from season four.

“It’s the age-old dilemma when friends – or frenemies – become more than just friends. How does everyone around them deal with seeing them together?” questioned Jennette.

Nathan added, “Now that Sam and Freddie have become SEDDIE, what does it mean for Carly? How will she deal with being stuck in the middle of a relationship that is frankly weirder than if Patrick and Sandy hooked up on SpongeBob?!”

Nickelodeon is celebrating frenemies Australia wide by giving kids the chance to win a Hoyts double movie pass and treat their frenemy to the movies. Kids can enter online each day by heading to the Nick Shack at www.nickelodeon.com.au and answering a question about what happened in that day’s Best Frenemies premiere episode.
