Returning: Royal Pains

I can barely remember what Royal Pains is about, but it returns to Seven next Tuesday night.

Oh wait. The Doctor. The Hamptons. Aren’t the Hamptons featured in Revenge too? That photo looks dodgy.

“Traffic.”
Summer has barely begun when Hank, Evan and Divya must spring into action after a Jitney unsuccessfully bypasses a Lamborghini. Divya may have avoided a car crash of her own by not marrying Raj but her parents don’t see it that way.

11:30pm Tuesday February 14.

  1. @ Shelley – my problem with Seven’s airing of the show is;
    1: they only brought season 2 after TV1 finished screening season 1 which was a good 18-24 months after season one finished on Seven, and
    2: TV1 would have played it at 7:30pm instead of playing it in a timeslot that does appreciate it for what it’s worth.
    USA Network shows are some of the best, and longest running, on American network television [with others being Suits (Seven), Covert Affairs (Seven), Burn Notice (One), White Collar (Ten), Psych (One/TV1), and In Plain Sight (Ten/13th Street)].

  2. Hmmm… beyond the first few episodes, this show has had a good run being shown at a consistent (if late night) timeslot each week. And it was available on catch-up. I’m not sure what the problem is here…

  3. Yes David, it is yet another show that Seven have abused with its bumping and dropping that it is hard to remember. They bumped season one three times only to start showing season two after TV1 had a rather good run of showing season one (purely a jealousy thing of “that’s mine!”). I just wish they would do like Ten/One and put put it on 7MATE in a decent timeslot instead of these latenight slots. Latenight seems to be really popular in the U.S. but in Australia the majority of the audience turns the TV off by 10:30pm (thank god for PVR’s!). But nevertheless, I’m glad it’s back =)
