13 Comments:

  1. I like the new size of the font here David. 🙂

    @MillerT1

    And I’m glad Castle is on Sunday ‘cos if they moved it to Thursday I’d stop watching.

  2. I think you’ll need to look at the formatting, David, the shares and the programmes (except all FTA) are way oversized; I can’t see some as its hidden under ads.

  3. Anyone have numbers for The Straits? Debuted at 660,000 last week (I think) but not in the Top 20 above which puts it under 449,000 – but how far under I wonder?

  4. I hope Tracey Grimshaw was watching Sunday Night, because Mike Willesee was giving a lesson in interview technique. Of course he repeated the questions – Gillard was evading the answers!

  5. Secret Squirrel

    Loving Homeland so hope it continues to do well enough to keep its timeslot. Just hope that the double-ep is a once-off and doesn’t drive people away.

    Ten would be happy about their performance in the under-55 demos on both Sat & Sun.

  6. Good debut for Suburgatory. It’s time the networks, particularly Seven and Nine, start scheduling first run shows reguarly on their multi channels rather than just repeats.

    The Willesee interview with Gillard on Sunday Night was hyped up but it was terrible in my opinion. For someone regarded as a great interviewer, i though he looked amateurish. There was bad editing too. He just asked the same questions, nothing really hard hitting, and too many times there was pause and we saw him flicking through his paper and reading his notes. Was quite annoying and made for a poor interview.

  7. Castle does very well at 9:30. It should have returned at 8:30 on another night but really when you think about it, there wasn’t room. I feel that Seven want to try and get Once Upon a Time in at 8:30 and Castle doesn’t really suit the Thursday lineup so I guess staying on Sundays was best.

    Ten continue to do well in its third week of Super Sunday. Does anyone think it’s possible that MasterChef might move to Monday-Friday because of Super Sunday? It would be risky but we all know that Warburton thinks Ten relies too much on reality and people like consistency.

  8. It was a very competitive night all round with the cricket doing well for Nine while TEN came 2nd between 6:30-8:30pm. All in all though the shows were all very close and competitive.

    Castle did well at 9:30pm. What a cracker of an episode that one was. Bones just beat out Homeland while YTT beat Sunday Night. Modern Family and New Girl are doing great on Sundays but you wait, TEN will move them when Masterchef returns and they will go down hill.

    Suburgatory did well for GO! but i recon it might have done well for Nine in a comedy block. Oh well either way. TV is back and its good.
