Not The Shire …TEN tries to pull parody clip too

VIDEO: A parody clip on The Shire is so slick that producers try to have it yanked off YouTube.

A parody clip on The Shire, TEN’s upcoming “Dramality” series, emerged earlier this week.

“From the heartbreakers to the homewreckers -it’s one of the most talked about shows on the box,” says the parody from Mortal Komedy Films.

The clip features two young blokes chinwagging about not very much in particular….

“I think it’s sick that The Shire is being made,” says one.

“There’s so many misconceptions about The Shire,” says another. “I’m just stoked that we can cut sick and let all youse guys know what it’s actually about.”

The clip, which currently has over 18,000 views is so slickly made that a source says a Producer from TEN’s show filed a copyright complaint with YouTube.

The clip was removed before the filmmakers filed a follow-up claim with YouTube that their content was 100% original. It was then reinstated.

Fully sick.

  1. Copyright complaint – puhlease. You can’t copy something that doesn’t exist and you can’t copyright a title as bland as “The Shire”. That was actually quite funny, I mean fully sick. I still won’t be watching the real thing.
