Ashton Kutcher is negotiating to return for at least another year of Two and a Half Men for $1 million per episode, according to tvguide.com.
Kutcher, who replaced Charlie Sheen on a one-year deal, he reportedly earns $700,000 an episode, well down from the $1.25 million Sheen was pulling before being fired.
Despite the exit of Sheen, Two and a Half Men remains a strong player for CBS and a profit machine for both Warner Bros. TV and creator Chuck Lorre.
At the PaleyFest, Lorre recently expressed optimism that a renewal was coming: “It’s unusual when they cancel a show that’s in the Top 10. I think there’s hope.
Meanwhile, Sheen will debut in his new sitcom, the aptly-titled Anger Management, on FX in June.

The new 2 1/2 men struggles to be any where near as good as the Sheen days. I haven’t watched it in months due to the pain it caused me from whincing at the terrible puns and poorly thought out story lines.
The sooner it dies the better.
Imagine what he’d ask for if he’d actually had a positive impact on ratings.
I thought the ratings were down this year after the initial hype of Kutcher?
Sounds like he’s another Charlie Sheen in the making…..
