TEN is officially out of ideas -here comes Devil Wears Prada, again!

James Warburton needs to talk to TEN's Programming department about lazy recycling of their movies, pronto.

TEN has just scheduled The Devil Wears Prada -again.

It’s scheduled for 8:30pm tomorrow night.

TEN played the movie in January, and before that October, July, and umpteen times before it.

Newsflash. We are not in non-ratings.

Does TEN think so little of its audience that it can’t offer them something better?

James Warburton needs to talk to his Programming department about lazy recycling of their movies, pronto.

If TEN programmers are switching off creative programming, it’s time for viewers to respond and just switch off TEN.

  1. Ten are a Joke.I am old enough to remember when 4:30pm was Simon Townsend Wonderworld and Double Dare way back in the Eighties Now they show that Bold and the Beautiful Crap.As for the Friday Night Rubbish They should go back to a Family Friendly 8:30 to 10:30pm Comedy line up that’s both fresh and new even if it means going back to the drawing board for that one.

  2. Hi there.
I’m in the process of compiling a list of movies that have been repeated on Australian TV, similar to The Devil Wears Prada.
It’s for a newspaper story to highlight the lack of imaginativity by TV stations and the fact that viewers are being taken for a ride.
I need films that would have been repeated in 2011 and also 2012.
I need movie title, and the specific dates when the movie was aired.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

  3. Am I right in saying that ONE have shown more premiere movies than the primary 10 channel? Seems that way to me…

oh well… fingers crossed First Wives Club is on next week (love that movie!)

  4. If the Project told us to turn to TEN through Neigbours, maybe The Project can tell us to turn to ELEVEN for Neighbours, Be good to see it on ONE though in High Def. Sorry been a fan for 15 years or more.

  5. TEN has had plenty of highs and lows in recent years as we would expect of a network. Programming is always a gamble and many have paid off. It’s demo shares that matter to them. I would just like more variety in movies than the same ol replays.

  6. Channel Ten’s descent into complete irrelevance continues apace. You cannot show this sort of contempt for your audience and get away with it indefinitely.

  7. I suggest “Mighty Ducks” for next Friday in honour of D.Mott the best ducker in the business. He keeps on ducking while the axe is swung and instead of his the heads of others hit the floor.. Time to sort your aim out James before there’s no one left to run the joint except Ducky Mott…

  8. Devil Wears Prada is just the 2011/2012 version of what went on with the various repeating of Hugh Grant movies over the years oh and Lindsay Lohan with Mean Girls.
