Two cast members of The Shire have had to be replaced in the TEN "dramality" series, following an "unsavoury" personal dispute.

Now we may have an answer as to why The Shire sneak peek was shelved this week.

Two cast members have had to be replaced in the TEN “dramality” series.

An “unsavoury” personal dispute spilled onto the set, reports the Sydney Morning Herald, leaving Shine to re-organise its schedule.

But the series is proceeding.

A TEN spokesperson said, “We won’t enter into specifics however, some unsavoury information has come to light which we are not interested in associating with The Shire. Contrary to reports, we are only interested in making a positive show with interesting stories and are taking great care to make that so.”

Some material already filmed will now be dumped.

The newspaper also reports some residents are objecting to the show being filmed in their streets. That comes after the local council said it did not support the series.

A sneak peek of the new series was due to air this week, but pulled by the network.

  2. I hope it works out and Ten doesn’t give in to filming a show that’s all positive. We need some bad ppl doin bad things it’s fun too watch on reality tv I liked jersey shore a lot but not anymore bcos the cast changed n got too boring . This show has to grow with the casts and not be afraid to show everything to air.

    I will be watching and hope it works. Give the debut episode a chance then I’ll see

  3. I thought personal conflict was the whole point of this show? How boring will it be without it! Was it pulled because the conflict was threatening to be resolved “Sydney Style”? (drive,bang,bang,drive)…

    that does indeed make sense. I hope this Laguna Beach/Jersey Shore ripoff tanks
