Geraldine Doogue to guest host The Drum

Compass presenter Geraldine Doogue will host The Drum on ABC News 24 next week.

“I’m thrilled to be guest-hosting The Drum for a week. I’ll aim to continue analysing the mainstream news agenda, which the programme does so well, but through an extra ‘prism’ that has a lot to contribute but which doesn’t receive enough attention, including religion, ethics, the values at stake in our various community debates. And we’ll be choosing a range of panellists who enjoy doing just this. It should be lots of fun,” Ms Doogue said.

The Drum takes you on a lively, thought-provoking journey through the day’s issues. Our hosts moderate discussions with an ever-changing panel drawn from all walks of life, representing all parts of the political and social spectrums.
