Shane Brennan sells new Drama pilot to US cable

Australian screenwriter Shane Brennan (pictured, right) has sold a Drama Pilot to cable network TNT.

Brennan executive produces NCIS and is creator on NCIS: LA.

The Hollywood Reporter says “King and Maxwell, a one-hour drama revolves around crime novelist David Baldacci’s characters Sean King and Michelle Maxwell from his best-selling novels. Sean and Michelle are ex-secret service agents who have unique skill sets that give them an upper hand on suspects and law enforcement.”

His earlier credits include Special Squad, The Flying Doctors, All Together Now, State Coroner, Stingers, Flipper, CSI: Miami and Summerland .

The new project was originally set up at CBS.
