FOX Sports will launch two brand new magazine shows as part of the Hyundai A-League  this weekend: Kick off and Shoot Out.

Kick Off

Host Mel McLaughlin will be joined by FOX Sports A-League analyst Andy Harper in the Sydney studio to deliver a weekly preview of the upcoming Hyundai A-League round in a brand new show to kick off the weekend action.

McLaughlin and Harper will break down each of the weekend’s matches in the Hyundai A-League, plus deliver the latest news from the Barclays Premier League with Fulham and Socceroos star Mark Schwarzer direct from London.

Premiere: Friday 5 October, 6.30pm AEST on FOX Sports 1 / 1HD

Matchday Saturday

Host Adam Peacock returns with regular sidekicks Mark Bosnich and Mark Rudan to deliver up to 10 hours of live coverage of the Hyundai A-League and Barclays Premier League each Saturday on the fun and frenetic Hyundai Matchday Saturday.

Interspersed between the live action Newcastle United tragic Peacock, former Manchester United and Socceroos star Bosnich, and Premiership-winning Sydney FC skipper Rudan will dissect the performances on the pitch and take a light-hearted look across the world of football.

Premiere: Saturday 6 October, 4pm AEST on FOX Sports 1 / 1HD

Shoot Out 

Following a huge Live weekend of football at home and abroad it’s time to wrap up the action with Adam Peacock and Mark ‘Bozza’ Bosnich.

New for the 2012/13 season, Peacock and Bosnich will analyse the weekend matches and deliver the latest injury and team news for each Hyundai A-League club as well as crossing to the UK for the latest fallout from the Barclays Premier League round.

Fans will also be introduced to the next big thing in football, the B-League, featuring weekly football-flavoured skits by Australian TV and radio personalities Sam Mac and Julian Schiller.

  1. Unfortunately, i do not have Foxtel, but i think this new set up for the A-League is great. Having a preview and wrap-up type show is a good idea, with the 5 games in between each round – is a simple idea, but a good one.

    Only if Seven and Nine did this with the AFL/NRL.
