“We’re heart-broken for Josh. He’s family.”

Big Brother housemates have rallied support for Josh Moore, who will return to the eviction stage tomorrow night to say farewell.

Josh Moore will return to the Big Brother stage tomorrow night, at his own request, to farewell the show.

Moore will join host Sonia Kruger on stage, before an audience of 1500 people at the Dreamworld amphitheatre on the Gold Coast.

Last night viewers saw him exit the house after farewelling his housemates.

Big Brother told housemates about a death in his family, but turned off the cameras as they met with him in the captain’s quarters.

Southern Star and Nine have supported Moore’s decisions about the way he wanted to leave the series. He will also partake in a live blog with News Limited readers from 12.30pm on Monday.

Series pyschologist Dr Sarah Angel told News Limited, “A death in any circumstance is extremely difficult, but in a public forum it adds another dimension to it. I guess the main thing here is we need to respect Josh and his family’s privacy and give him some space to process what’s happened.”

Last night’s episode showed housemates reacting and coping and giving them extra treats to help deal with the news.

Zoe told Big Brother, “Having one of our own hurt like that has been a shake-up for us. It’s awful. We’re heart-broken for Josh. He’s family.

“We all love each other and we’re all here for each other, no matter who goes or who gets nominated. But at the end of the day we’re all here for each other and we’re family.”

There is no eviction this week.
