Collective, Samantha, Jason for X Factor finale

17 year old singer Bella Ferraro was eliminated last night sealing the Top 3 for X Factor 2012.

The Collective, Samantha Jade and Jason Owens will battle it out in The X Factor‘s Grand Finale next week after 17 year old singer Bella Ferraro was eliminated last night.

But the decision was sent to audience vote after a deadlock between judges as The Collective faced elimination too.

Losing her last contestant, Natalie Bassingthwaighte said to her young singer, “You are so many flavours and colours of the rainbow. I love you Bella and I think you’re amazing.”

Ferraro thanked viewers, judges, crew and co-performers saying, “I feel like I have come a very long way from the start to now, the only way is up and that inspires me.”

Last night’s show also featured Elton John performing two songs with Pnau.

The Top 3 will be making public appearances on Thursday:

  2. I’m a bit annoyed that Jason never once was in the bottom two, there were so much better than him who have now gone. He’ll probably win but I’d rather The Collective or Samantha.

  4. I really believe the Mel b factor is what is keeping Jason in. She has huge support in this country now and they are voting for her as much as Jason. Bella was the standout in the comp. Samantha Jade is fantastic but a little too Kylie for me. The show is really pushing The Collective.

  5. I know of people who have voted for Jason because he’s the underdog. I suppose his boy-next-door persona helps. And the way he’s transformed throughout the series. I admit he’s not the best singer but obviously it’s not just about the voice with this show.

  6. Yeah, those who I thought would typically have the highest support were actually bottom in votes? Sad to see Bella go.

    Hmmm.. also not quite sure hot to explain Jason. He does seem a bit out of his depth, yet he’s never been in the bottom?

  8. Oh Bella Bella…so close but it was not to be…..thought Jason was probably the weakest, but the voters like him. Not convinced The Collective will win, their fan base is limited and don’t seem to want to vote…….as for Samantha, hot, attractive, great voice ……. now just accentuate those curves and add a bit of raunch

  9. Really happy Samantha and Jason made it through, even though they didn’t get anywhere near as much publicity as The Collective and Bella throughout the series.
