FremantleMedia appoints national marketing manager for Neighbours

Former TEN Melbourne Publicity Manager becomes National Marketing Manager for Neighbours.

Ramsay-StreetFremantleMedia Australia has appointed former TEN Melbourne Publicity Manager Stephanie Bansemer-Brown to the role of Neighbours National Marketing Manager.

Bansemer-Brown, who departed TEN late last year, takes on the newly created position which will focus on creating marketing and promotional opportunities for Neighbours, liaising with both ELEVEN and Five.

An FMA statement said, “Stephanie comes to us from Network TEN where she has been the Melbourne Publicity and Marketing Manager for the past 10 years. Her wealth of experience will be a huge asset to Neighbours.

“The creation of this role is a further investment by FMA in the longterm success of Neighbours. It coincides with the first shooting week on the amazing new backlot where the backyards of three of the Neighbours houses have been constructed.”

  1. Interesting news. Lots of news out of Neighbours in recent times. Are they building toward some kind of relaunch of the show?

@Leo I am really looking forward to Nicola but totally missed it as I didn’t know she was on this week. I think that’s one problem Neighbours has, you hear that all these exciting people are coming back, but you don’t know when to watch.

  2. Fantastic news – here’s hoping she promotes the show more, I never hear Neighbours stars on Melbourne radio – in Sydney they always have Home & Away stars on.
Did anyone catch the return of Nicola Charles last night? My Twitter feed was going off with comments – she is stunning – hopefully her return will lift the show!
I’m surprise you didn’t to a little report on her return yesterday David 🙂

  3. David, if you get the chance to visit the set again, can you try to find out why #30 (Toadie’s House) was halved in size and why we haven’t seen the kitchen of #32 for over two years? They haven’t moved to a smaller studio, so it bugs me that they would unrealistically halve a house.
The share house (#28) had it’s kitchen halved not long after the last renovations as apparently, the backlit cupboards were distracting to the viewers. I’d just turn off the lights, not reduce the room by half.
