TV Tonight can reveal the latest local name to sign on for NBC’s Camp is Roger Corser (Puberty Blues, Rush, Spirited).
He will play Roger Shepherd who is the director of the “other” camp, known as ‘Ridgefield.’
This follows confirmation of Rachel Griffiths in the Matchbox Pictures production, to shoot in the Tweed region. Dance Academy‘s Tim Pocock, Dena Kaplan and Tom Green have also been announced.
Interestingly, Corser’s casting comes despite him signing an earlier talent deal with US network ABC.
The $22 million TV series consists of 10 one-hour episodes, to be shot at recreational area Crams Farm from March to July.
Additional filming locations may also include Murwillumbah and Tyalgum.
