Airdate: triple j’s One Night Stand

ABC2 has announced it will screen triple j’s One Night Stand concert live-to-air* and stream online at triplej.net.au.

A second online stream will feature behind-the-scenes action live from backstage for those using a second-screen device.

Acts this year will include Flume, The Rubens, Ball Park Music, Seth Sentry and a local triple j Unearthed act.

The multiplatform broadcast will screen live 7pm – 10pm (EST), Saturday April 13 with ABC2 and triple j radio broadcasts in local time.

triple j’s One Night Stand concert series brings the big live music experience to young people in regional areas. For the last eight years triple j has travelled the country from Natimuk (VIC) to Tumby Bay (SA), hitting Alice Springs (NT), Collie (WA), Cowra (NSW), Dalby (QLD) and everywhere in between.

This free all-ages event is one of the absolute highlights of triple j’s calendar, and this year triple j’s One Night Stand will be more than just a concert.

Drawing on resources across all platforms, the ABC will broadcast the whole thing live on the radio**, TV* and online (via the triple j website and YouTube).
