Guy Sebastian has quit The X Factor, yesterday telling Rosso on MIX FM:
“I’m not doing X Factor this year. Actually I haven’t officially announced that yet, this is actually the first time I’ve been saying it, but I’m probably going to put out a tweet today.
“I decided a while back that I wouldn’t be able to do it. I absolutely love the show but I just need to get back to what my life is about and that’s my music and writing and being creative.”
Sebastian follows Mel B as the second judge to walk from the Seven series.
They are expected to be replaced by American singer and rapper Redfoo from LFMAO and Dannii Minogue.

I don’t understand….if he only said it today for the first time how can there already be an expected replacement?
Seven really needs to get some Big overseas names to replace these two like nine has done with the voice other wise i wont be watching and danni mingoue wont do either
Well at least someone else has a chance to win. I wish they would go form someone big. Mel C is in town doing jesus christ the stage show. She could hang around.

Meh. Won’t really miss him. The big loss is Mel B. Wishful thinking, but i’d love Nat got get back into acting. Join H&A for a while or something.
I would be very surprised to see Ronan and Nat return. I vote: Dannii, Sharon, Redfoo, gotye.
I don’t mind the reported Xfactor line-up. I think Ronan, Dannii and Redfoo will be good. Get Natalie to host the thing and get a huge star to replace her to match what Nine are doing. Mel B will be a massive loss.
Good news, time for someone else’s friend to win this year and promote themselves every episode. Dannii, it’s time to release new music!
I am glad that he has made that decision I actually like his music more than his judging on the show, Though I must say XF is definately going downhill I don’t like the panel line at all Ronan is probably the only one with the most success in terms of music- the rest? Danni seems nice but when was her last big hit? and Nat B am sure is very nice but is very annoying- Redfoo- who? producers have it wrong this year and will soon see that in thier ratings..won’t be watching it anymore I think- am going to stick to the Voice and AGT on 9 that’s enough talent shows for me.

He’s posted an announcement on his twitter too now about leaving. Wonder what Ronan thinks. He was quoted in a piece a week or so ago saying he’d been speaking to Mel and Guy and how they both wanted to do it, but they’re now not returning.
The Daily Mirror UK have already announced Dannii is doing X Factor. I hope it’s not true Redfoo is joining the panel. Can’t Seven find someone talented?!
If Dani is in i am out. Ch 7 need to look for massive names like 9 do with the voice abd AGT. To my shock 7 are looking very flat footed in this talent search.
