Kyle tipped for Australia’s Got Talent

Bad boy Kyle Sandilands is expected to be announced as the fourth judge on Australia's Got Talent today.

2013-03-19_1646Bad boy Kyle Sandilands is expected to be announced as the fourth judge on Australia’s Got Talent today.

Sandilands was last seen on television judging the show on the Seven Network, but is believed to have survived its transition to Nine despite earlier media reports that Nine was disinterested in any of the former judges.

If confirmed, he will join the previously-announced Melanie B and Dawn French, alongside Timomatic, announced yesterday.

Sandilands has a long track record as a TV talent show judge, first on Australian Idol then on The X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent but this would be his first resident role with Nine.

  1. Still haven’t seen one of the promos announcing Kyle as new judge yet, but latest news I’m seeing on Mel B now is she may not be appearing on this as a judge after all. Channel 7 seems to have won an injunction to stop her from going to 9.

  2. This is madness. Everybody was hoping that when AGT went to Nine there would be no more Kyle. Now he’s back like a latter-day Freddie Krueger. Why did Nine pick up the show if they were just going to replicate what Seven did?

  3. Channel Nine advertised a superstar would be named. Surely they can not think Kyle Sandilands is a superstar. I would have watched with Dawn French and Mel B and even Timomatic, but unless Tim Campbell is hosting the show I will give it a big miss.

  4. I feel very sorry for Dawn French, a hugely talented performer who has to earn a living and obviously is being paid a mottza to do this show.I wonder if she knows yet! Would have watched the show but not with Sandilands there.
