ITV Australia boss to set up own production company

ITV Australia Managing Director Leonie Lowe has resigned after more than 11 years and plans to set up her own production company.
The Australian reports she told staff via email yesterday, but will remain until September.
“It is with much sadness (and excitement!) to let you know that I have resigned as Managing Director of ITV Studios Australia,” she wrote.
“Whilst I will still be here for quite a few more months, I just wanted to say thank you to all that I’ve worked with over the years, for all the fun that you’ve all provided and for making this company so special.”
An ITV Australia statement said, “Leonie leaves ITV SA in robust health having led the business for the last 7 years, overseeing productions including award-winning series Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation.
Other recent productions from ITV (formerly Granada Australia) include Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell, Please Marry My Boy, Come Dine With Me, Come Date with Me and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
