For the most part, I see these typos as little more that confirmation of deteriorating journalist/reporter standards in our media.
When was the last time you heard an intelligent/probing/thoughtful question put to a politician at a door stop… and a follow up question bringing the polly back to the original question when they shot off on a tangent.
How many times have you heard a reporter ask “what have you got to say to your victims” as they chase the villain down a street… and then the look of amazement on the reporter’s face when the “evil bas-tard’ doesn’t reply.
There are some who still seem to do a capable job… honorable mentions should go to the ABC’s 7:30 team and to 4 Corners. The rest sound like seagulls… me me me me mine mine mine.

To be fair, I didn’t even know what the typo was for a minute there.
Time for another Media Watch segment!
Ooops Packer – and yes thats what I am hinting at, the standards would be better
a reversed ie/ei or even ‘fued’ is slighly understandable, the error isn’t glaringly obvious. but how does homocide make it to air?

These continue to happen. One wonders sometimes who is in the editing room at Channel 9.
Quite pathetic.
@DansDans – It was “Packer”, and it would be in far better shape, in every respect, than it is now.
Lol! Gee nine are on a roll
One wonders the state Ch 9 would be in now if Mr Parker was still alive
