Carbo gets a dog…
Methinks the Packed to the Rafters writing department is not trying hard enough.

Who’d have thought criticising a plot line and a character was tall poppy syndrome.
Tall poppy syndrome doesn’t necessarily relate to a person. Look it up.
@Secret Squirrel,No-one in their wildest dreams would ever call the Project a tall poppy. More like a noxious weed.
@Darcy09: Tall Poppy Syndrome? You do know that Carbo isn’t a real person don’t you?
Also the dogs name is Julie!
This show needs to ‘Melrose Place’ itself up, you know, a few explosions here or there, drug addictions, murder plots etc. that will get some excitement back on Rafters!
@Darcey09 – yes, let’s give The Project another kicking.
Sad to see that the Tall poppy syndrome is still alive in Australia
cousin oliver or jump the shark? i have loved the current series of rafters. the ted storyline has been great.
I think it because they lost a baby and there marriage hasnt been great so they get a dog to make things better. Obviously it probably isnt the right answer.
Retta did have a miscarriage a couple of weeks ago so maybe they are compensating for that by getting a dog.
Let me guess… The dog:
a) pees on the floor
b) eats\ destroys something
c) goes missing
d) assists ending the episode with and ‘I love you too moment’
e) all of the above
I’ll go with E
Maybe the dog will give him rabies.
Oh the hilarity this will ensue!
I feel sorry for George, 5 seasons and not one “deep” storyline (apart from a miscarriage that was forgotten by the following episode).
I’d far rather him be a murder victim. I can’t stand this character.
