Upcoming SBS documentary JFK: The Smoking Gun will air in the US during the the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination in November 2013.
Cable channel Reelzchannel has acquired the rights to the doco, being co-produced by Cordell/Jigsaw/Zapruder and Canada’s Muse Entertainment. It will also screen on SBS in November.
Former undercover Australian police detective/crime writer Colin McLaren has spent four years analysing the JFK assassination. Written by Steve Lucas, and directed by Malcolm McDonald, the 90 minute film will claim to have found the “smoking gun” that killed the US president.
Production is currently underway in Dallas and Montreal.
Wonder if Zapruder will need to change its name based on any new evidence…..?

Best resolution of events I’ve ever witnessed in this doco
Yeah, I was in Dallas a couple of years ago and went to the plaque where it happened.
Looking forward to this, can’t believe it has been 50 years!
Looking forward to it. I have been to the Texas Book window and the distance with a bolt action rifle and a moving target is simply impossible, unless an expert was involved.
I look forward to this, I always believed there was a conspiracy theory, like that guy believed in the JFK movie.
Intriguing. Look forward to this. And don’t worry David – I got the joke…. 😉
