Next week The Biggest Loser begins its annual makeover week on TEN.

2013-05-08_2049Next week The Biggest Loser begins its annual makeover week on TEN, which is bound to help the show lift its numbers.

Sunday 12 May, 7.30pm
Before the lucky contestants get the chance to strut their stuff on the catwalk, it’s another dreaded weekly weigh in – but not before the trainers get their hands on each contestant for an all-important last chance training session. One thing’s for certain: you don’t want to be the eliminated contestants this week and miss out on a makeover by only one day.

Monday 13 May, 7.30pm
The contestants head to a hair salon in Sydney’s Surry Hills where Australia’s Hairdresser of the Year, Joey Scandizzo, his team and the MAC girls are all on hand, ready to beautify our teams. From there, it’s off to styling at Australian Technology Park, where one contestant is in jeans for the first time ever and another finally feels beautiful. Watch as the contestants see their new selves for the first time. We can guarantee there will be tears.

Tuesday 14 May, 7.30pm
After the mirror reveals, it’s time our contestants strut their stuff on the catwalk in front of their family, friends and a hologram of their former selves. The crowd is blown away by the amazing transformations, as each contestant vows never to go back to that unhappy and unhealthy person they once were. The following day it’s back to reality and training, as the alliance of two try to recruit a third team. What they weren’t expecting, however, was that one contestant heard the alliance proposal and reported back to the teams on the outer. Are we in for a The Biggest Loser spat?

  1. I’m hoping that because the green team had a makeover last week that its not a sign that they will be eliminated on Sunday. They are the best team to watch at the moment and it will be hard to continue watching if they get eliminated. Some of the nastiness that the biggest loser is focusing on at the moment is off putting. That kind of television is why is stopped watching my kitchen rules.

  2. Well we know two teams that arent eliminated. Obviously the light blue and orange team are still there if the alliance try to recruit a 3rd team. I know the light blue team have immunity.

I have no issue with people having alliances but what annoys me is Amber is getting through because of the work her dad is putting in.

I love the green team and I hope they win.

  3. I agree JoshS – TEN, all you have done is make me determined not to watch Makeoverweek – thank you from distracting me from quality television ……..

  4. Apparently TEN have seen fit to put an advert in their watermark telling us about makeover week. It was on all episode of SVU last night. Since the missus watches one show on TEN I was able to notice.

Totally not annoying and pissing off viewers with that…
