Channel Nine has appointed a new Sports Presenter for STW9 Perth in Michael Thomson.
Thomson returns as Head of Sport to the station where he worked for more than 25 years before leaving in 2011 after his lifestyle show Just Add Water was axed by former management, WIN Television.
“I am delighted to welcome Michael Thomson back to Nine Perth,” David Mott, Channel Nine Perth Managing Director, said. “He is one of Western Australia’s most respected and trusted sports journalists and commentators.
More recently Thomson has been Marketing and Communications Manager for Surf Life Saving WA.
He begins on December 9.
