Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show creator, Seth MacFarlane, has a new animation coming to television, Bordertown.
Set to debut during the 2014-15 season on FOX, the comedy takes place in a fictional desert town in Texas and centres on Bud Buckwald, a married father of three who serves as a border patrol agent who isn’t adjusting well to the cultural changes around him.
The series takes a satirical look at America’s cultural shifts through the evolving relationships between Bud’s family and that of his next-door neighbour Ernesto Gonzales, a Mexican immigrant and father of four.
MacFarlane will co-produce with Bordertown creator Mark Hentemann (Family Guy), with Family Guy‘s Alex Carter and Dan Vebber (American Dad, Futurama) also aboard as co-EPs.
The series has been in development at the network since 2009.
The Cleveland Show was cancelled earlier this year and American Dad will finish its 10th run on the network during the 2013-14 season.

It’s worth noting that while American Dad is finishing up on FOX at the end of this current season, it is moving to TBS for the 2014-15 season.
I’m still so bitter that they cancelled King Of The Hill for The Cleveland Show. :(
What happened to the flintstones reboot??? I thought that was going to be his next big project!
Great. Yet another formulaic Seth MacFarlane show about a couple with three kids and an anthropomorphic something or other.
