  1. @maxxdude
    Indeed.

The solution to one show with mediocre ratings is not two shows being shown to the wrong audience!

A really dumb programming move to avoid media attention on how badly Serangoon Road was rating.

  2. I wish to thank SBS for the end of the Roman Homicides. I also watched the JFK documentary despite all the stunts that tried to convince me not to watch it. I’m not a fan of what went on during it. Also what happened during the credits got me to flick the TV off. Instead of watching them and the ads afterward like I normally do.

I just wish if you want to invite the audience onto social media you do it before the show starts. Also I presume that’s what was also done in the credits. If you must I wish it would be with a voice over instead. Because then I could be relatively happy watching stuff on SBS including the credits and ads afterwards. Because the other stuff is a big: Go Away message. I will obey such a message eventually. Despite not wanting to. I’ll try to watch the JFK series on Tuesdays. I hope I can.

  3. I wish to thank the ABC for the News. Also ABC2 for the show about Doctor Who. Plus I liked that the voice over was after the credits. It does seem to be potentially helpful for people with visual problems. I liked the Doctor Who DVD ad. Interesting it wasn’t the first one. I didn’t mind. I’ll also admit I like Louis Thereoux.

I’m also glad I could watch Castle. I was unhappy with the EPG being wrong. I dislike shows being early more than them being late or with silly start times. Luckily I switched the TV on the right time. But it teaches me not to trust Seven.

  4. well done to SBS for getting that share and numbers for the JFK doco.

It’s a shame that ”Have you been Paying Attention” didn’t rate at all. I hope it builds up over the remainder of the series.

DWTS rated better than I thought it would get.

  5. Funny that Luther (which I watched & think is excellent) is getting much lower numbers for ABC1 on a Sunday night than it would on a Friday night. ABC1 should have perservered with Serangoon Road on Sunday & left Luther on crime night Friday.

  6. Seriously… Have You Been Paying Attention didn’t even score 300k viewers? :/

It was hilarious, loved seeing Jane, Ed, Tom back on our screens.

  7. Maev....Sydney

@ bettestreep2008…’And what the hell was that horrid Are you paying attention rubbish before it???’
Reading one on the other pages on this site..I thought I was the only one that did not really like it.

  8. bettestreep2008

Because of the recent New/Repeat scenario with Modern Family, I assumed last night would be the same.

Imagine my disappointment to see 2 repeat episodes of MF last night. I think I’ve seen both at least 5 times – more times than the Devil Wears Prada!

And I discovered it wasn’t Ten’s fault cos the show is on hiatus in the US.

What a shame – cos last night was a relatively low rating night and a new ep of MF would have given DWTS and AGT some real competition.

And what the hell was that horrid Are you paying attention rubbish before it???
