Kym Dillon, a 25-year Nine veteran, switches to weekend sport from 2014.

Tony Agars, Director of Nine News Adelaide, said: “Warren Tredrea is one of the best AFL players this state has ever produced. To have access to his knowledge of sport is an asset we are excited about.”

Tredea said, “My work with Nine News began back in 2000 when I joined as a cadet, and after retiring from the AFL I was thrilled to continue working as a sports commentator. I am passionate about sport, and whether it’s the AFL or taking my kids to nippers, I live and breathe it,” Tredrea said.

“It is an honour to present the sport in such a highly respected capacity and I look forward to taking on this challenge with our viewers.”

  1. Tredders might have been a great footy player, but a news reader he is not. He’s very wooden.
I really liked Kym Dillon, he’s a natural and very easy to listen to.

  2. He might be an absolute champion, but that doesn’t mean he will be any good at reading the sports news. There are some dreadful sports readers who are absolute champions around the country.
