Literally on this first day of summer, the summer non-ratings period begins. It proceeds until February 8th 2014.

Tomorrow we’ll look at how the network numbers stack up in detail.

But here it is in a nutshell:

Seven has won Total People and the most survey weeks.

Nine has won all 3 key demos.

ABC has snatched third place in Total People.

TEN has gone down.

Seven and Nine have increased their shares due to TEN decreasing.

  1. Glad Ch7 took the honours. I watch a fair bit of TV and it seems they have a better range of material over a longer period. While Ch9 also have some quality dramas, it seems to be dominated by Big Bang repeats and their reality shows.

  2. Sorry I didn’t mean it that way, Dave you’re right about Big Bang. what I meant was 9 has tried new programmes in the schedules to try and rid it of Big Bang, but competition hasn’t allowed for them to get a decent go to try new shows.
