Thursday FC: Summer Special

SBS football show Thursday FC this week includes guests Justin North, Mark Winterbottom, and Lime Cordiale.

Thursday FC celebrates the start of summer this week with celebrity chef Justin North cooking live in the studio. Justin will team up with Central Coast Mariners star and keen foodie Zac Anderson to cook 100 hamburgers with Thursday FC special sauce for the studio audience.

V8 Supercar driver Mark Winterbottom will be on the show ahead of the V8 Supercar championship this weekend. Mark will be talking to David Zdrilic about how he almost made it as a footballer before choosing to concentrate on motorsport.

SBS 2’s resident movie guy and host of Tropfest Marc Fennell will join Matt Okine and Lucy Zelic to preview the world’s largest short film festival which SBS 2 is broadcasting live from Centennial Park this Sunday night.

Also on the show will be Brisbane Roar captain Matt Smith and an Adelaide United player to preview their upcoming clash on Friday.

Sydney band Lime Cordiale will be live in studio, performing their new single Sleeping at Your Door as well as the classic track by Dragon, Summer.

Thursday FC is football and a whole lot more.
