Nathaniel Buzolic cast in Supernatural spin-off

Australian actor Nathaniel Buzolic, who has appeared in The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Out of the Blue has been cast as one of the leads in the Supernatural spinoff, Supernatural: Tribes.
He will play the role of play the role of David Hayden, a shape-shifter from one of Chicago’s ruling monster families alongside British actor Lucien Laviscount.
The CW drama is described as a sweeping drama about the various mafia-esque monster families that unknowingly to humans “run” the underbelly of Chicago and who are being tracked by a newly minted Hunter who’s trying to stop them and rid Chicago of anything or anyone supernatural.
The spinoff cast will be introduced in episode 20 of the current season of Supernatural, set to air in the US on April 29.

Mr Buzolic should be careful- he might get typecast!
I think it could be interesting but I agree it’s likely to fail, most spin-offs don’t have a good track record.
I agree, it doesn’t really sound like a spinoff, just using Supernatural as a launching pad. The concept sounds similar to Grimm with the mafioso type families.
Not much of a Supernatural spin-off. More lets use Supernatural to launch another version of The Originals with shapeshifters.
