10 Comments:

  1. Great to see a premium sport in HD. Thanks and well done Ten. But have to say the Ten program interviews (advertorials) got a bit much though!!!

  2. @Secret Squirrel – The F1 Grand Prix coverage is simulcasted on One. This would allow Australian viewers to see live action of the Formula One in HD.

  3. See ABC beat channel 9 again last night, at one time ABC did not do too well now it is really coming good lets hope that the same thing happens to 10.

  4. @Secret Squirrel – you would be shocked how many viewers have a good HD TV yet watch sport like F1 on Ten instead of ONE. Same with Soccer on SBS.
With world cup soccer coming up mid year I am already looking forward to watching that on Ch30 in 720P. Not full HD but so superior to SD streams, especially these days with restricted bit rates to allow all those stupid advertising mini channels etc 🙁

  5. don’t forget that most shows weren’t shown in Adelaide because of the station election coverage, so most shows are down cause of that.

  6. F1 is one of the sports events Ten is building up more and more and viewers that love F1 appreciate it. We watched it on ONE, so those figures will show when released and add to the Ten Network total 🙂

This once again shows that if Ten have good sport on they get viewers. HD is essential for many viewers as well. Hope they show V8’s next year in HD as well.

Ten’s coverage of F1 since they took it over from 9 showing it in the late night time slots has gone from strength to strength.
