  1. I’m glad that Seven didn’t give away what happened on Downton. I guess I don’t have to mention what I’m not happy about. I’m glad I could watch it however even with a ridiculous start time. I did notice a bump in the viewing figures because Sunday Night had a higher audience figure too.

Thank you to the ABC for the News and even Richard Hammond. Although I did notice the standard disincentive to watch Rake. I assume next time if they have him he’ll be on later however. If they get him again.

I guess Vikings are just the thing for the SBS audience. Because it definitely gave them a boost. Neil Oliver is wonderful however.

I’m sorry for what is happening at Ten. Lastly Nine must be happy with top result.

  2. When it comes to television viewing, people will watch what they deem to be entertaining. Many shows that give me pleasure will never make the top 20. I’m lucky as my wife tends to enjoy watching the same or similar shows with the odd exception.

If my favourite shows fail to register ratings wise, I couldn’t care less and that’s how it should be with everyone. You like a show, then watch it, as tastes vary. But please enough of all this tripe about changing the system because your favourite program does not appeal to the masses in general.
The Oztam system has the largest number of meters per capita in the world. It is owned by the three major networks with the ABC, SBS and subscription TV having observer rights, along with advertisers etc. If there was anything vaguely suss there would be an outcry from somebody participating. End of lecture.

  3. @Jason
I believe that SBS’s The Vikings have beaten SYTYCDA by about 100 viewers. If SBS top show beats 10’s Dance show next week, then the dance reality show would turn into a terrible show for 2014.

  4. @Ryan – yes it was very good. We also enjoyed it very much. Some top talented young dancers in that show. Starting to like some of the judges as well now. 🙂
