10 Comments:

  1. Last year, the biggest loser Finale got 1.265m or a little higher… it was split into three parts again with every part over a million. The Real Housewives of Melbourne is fantastic… please bring it on DVD and also renew it for another series.

  2. Those ratings figures for Nine News in Adelaide and Perth – ouchy!!! I enjoyed the second instalment of Manu’s France, it was very well put together and quite delightful. Manu is an excellent host, I found him very engaging. Two episodes isn’t enough to cover such an interesting and scenic country as France, I think Seven needs to commission a second series, the ratings justify it.

  3. The Real Housewives of Melbourne is really picking up ratings wise. It started strongly, then dipped moderately and is now gaining each week. It might scrape 150k for the reunion.

  4. TBL – Challenge Australia has never reached beyond the 1 million mark. That was bad news for a Channel 10. With Masterchef AU a few weeks away, it will be a tough battle in the ratings.

  5. bettestreep2008

TBL did OK but it had no competition from The Block or MKR and was screened during the non-ratings period.

I really can’t see it being renewed next year.

And I don’t think SYTYCD or MCA will be renewed either.

Despite both these shows being technically excellent and enjoyable viewing, SYTYCD has barely rated over 500K thanks to the competition and MCA looks like it will compete against House Rules and The Voice.

Does Ten really think viewers are in the mood of another cooking show immediately after MKR?

Sorry Ten. Nothing you screen this year will rate over 1m.

Nine, Seven and ABC are the winners in 2014 – hands down.
