Top of the Lake nominated in BAFTA Awards

2014-04-07_2351Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake has been nominated for a BAFTA Award -but it will have to compete with Broadchurch in the Drama series category.

Broadchurch and Channel 4 drama Southcliffe dominate the nominations.

Also featuring are The Fall, The IT Crowd, The Wrong Mans, Burton and Taylor, An Adventure in Space and Time, In the Flesh, and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

In the highly-competitive international category are Borgen, Breaking Bad, House of Cards and The Returned.

The BAFTA TV Awards will be held on Sunday 18 May.

  1. So many quality shows up against each other here.
    I think Broadchurch should just edge out TOTL and surely BB will ace it in the International category.
