Airdate: The Full Brazilian

Jimeoin plucks up for a live entertainment show on SBS during the World Cup.

2014-05-27_1206Jimeoin fronts a new SBS entertainment show The Full Brazilian, screening throughout 2014 FIFA World Cup, before a live studio audience.

Promising to tackle ‘the big issues, rip through funny clips, present sketches and take on in-studio challenges’, it will feature musical acts, celebrities, sportspeople, and daily catch-ups with Les Murray and Craig Foster from Brazil.

“I’m delighted that SBS has asked me to be a part of their World Cup coverage. I’m disappointed that I have to do it from Australia but considering what happened the last time I was in Brazil… it’s probably a good call,” he said.

Nazeem Hussain (Legally Brown) will be the man on the ground in Brazil, navigating through his experiences as an Aussie abroad and laying bare the beauty and chaos of Brazil in a way that only Nazeem can.

The Full Brazilian will also flip the switch on TV viewers, going beyond the front door and into the lounge rooms of some true football fanatics with ‘Fan Tube’. Setting cameras up in their homes, we will capture the agony and ecstasy of what it means to live and die with your team, from calling the ref a cheat, to the tears of joy that follow a sublime goal.

Sometimes controversial but always entertaining, SBS is about to go The Full Brazilian.

Begins Friday 13 June at 7.30pm on SBS ONE.
