Former cast members of US sitcom The Wonder Years reunited ahead of an upcoming DVD release.
Still one of my favourite shows from the 1980s.
Fred Savage was joined by Jason Harvey, Olivia D’Abo, Dan Lauria, Alley Mills, Danica McKellar and Josh Saviano.
Several of the cast are still very active in the industry with Savage as a director, Lauria, Mills and McKellar still acting, Hervey as a producer and D’Abo as novelist.

Love Ally Mills as Pam on The Bold and the Beautiful, they should give her a bigger part.
@ T-Mac:
The studios don’t want hassles over music copyright issues.
For the DVD release they simply delete the known music sequences and insert bland filler music.
Fox did that when they released “WKRP in Cincinnati” on DVD (in USA) a few years ago.
On a different level, some companies just delete specific episodes from the DVD release of TV shows if there’s a rights issue.
An episode (West Coast Story) from season one of Hamish Macbeth was left out of the DVD release worldwide due to extensive use of music from “West Side Story”. Producers had the OK for the TV broadcast but not for new media that came along less than a decade later.
D@GP: I thought the reason a DVD release took so long was because of legal troubles with clearing the sheer amount of classic rock oldies used on the show.
So happy this is finally getting a DVD release! And that the cast still must be happy being attached to the show by doing a reunion for the release.
Wonderful show!
Alley Mills plays Pamela Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful.
I understand the DVD release of this show is the result of a deal between Warners and Fox.
Warners (or was it Fox?) finally waived their rights to the characters of the TV series of Batman in return for the DVD rights of The Wonder Years.
Whichever isn’t important, because fans of both series are in for a real treat.
Good to see Marilyn Manson without make-up 😉
Well there’s a blast from the past !
But def one of my fave shows from the 80s as well.
Kev was so sweet.
Fred hasn’t changed much at all over the years – can definitely still see a lot of young Kev in him.
I was a fan of the show too.
No Daniel Stern (the narrator) in the photos I noticed, although I suppose he didn’t work on set with the cast.
Any rumours of a reunion episode?
