The Wonder Years reboot proceeds to full season

A reboot of The Wonder Years is getting a full season in the USA.
The comedy, inspired by the 1988 original, centres around a Black middle-class family in Alabama in the turbulent 1960s. It stars Elisha “EJ” Williams as Dean Williams with the voice of Don Cheadle voices the adult “EJ”.
The premiere drew 6.4 million US viewers after seven days of viewing, to tie with The Conners as ABC’s No. 1 comedy this season among adults 18-49.
No Australian broadcaster is yet on board for the series.
Comedy series Home Economics, inspired by the real-life experiences of writer and executive producer Michael Colton, has also been given a full season by ABC.
