Holy birthday cake. Today Kids’ WB will mark Batman’s 75th anniversary with its very own Batman Day on GO!, including a screening of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Kids’ WB host Andrew Faulkner will be putting his utility belt to good use, while his trusty sidekick Robin – aka co-host Lauren Phillips – helps to keep everyone safe.
Add to this a studio full of children dressed up as Batman, as well as a celebrity who will be unmasked to reveal his true identity, and we’re in for a huge celebration to mark 75 years of Batman starring in comics, cartoons and feature movies.
For Andrew, Batman Day is a childhood dream come true. “As a little boy I always wanted to be Batman when I grew up. And years later I get the chance to be the Caped Crusader for one day.”
Adding even more to the fun, there will be a two-part special screening of the cartoon Batman: The Brave and the Bold, so Kids’ WB viewers will get a whole hour of wall-to-wall Batman action on Wednesday.
Wednesday, July 23, at 4.00pm on GO!
