Returning: Vera

UK drama Vera, starring Brenda Blethyn returns to 13th Street next week.

Season Four included an adaptation of the novel Harbour Street by author Ann Cleeves, which was published ahead of the broadcast in the UK in January.

Season Five began filming in the UK in June.

International award winning actress Brenda Blethyn reprises her leading role as the brilliantly perceptive D.C.I. Vera Stanhope for a fourth series of the popular Crime Drama. In the opening fi lm Vera investigates the mysterious death of pensioner Margaret Kraszewski on a busy Newcastle Metro train at the height of rush hour.
