Meteorologist Jane Bunn is joining Seven News in Melbourne, replacing Jo Silvagni.
Bunn, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Graduate Diploma of Meteorology and a Graduate Certificate in Journalism, will present weather on weeknights.
She previously presented on ABC, WIN News and The Weather Channel.
Jo Silvagni, who joined in January when Giaan Rooney took maternity leave, will remain in a broad presenting role while Rooney will continue to present weather on weekends.
She will begin on air on Monday December 8.

She seems to know her stuff. But does she always have to walk from left to right after the cross from the news reader? Distracting to see it every time.
Strong debut for Jane Bunn’s first 7News Melbourne weather bulletin last night – smooth, flowing and warm delivery. Very polished and professional, and her credentials as a trained meteorologist shone through.
What a weird revolving series of presenters in the role. Surely David should have just stayed, unless he didn’t want to…
it was so awkward to watch Jo try and read the weather. Bec Judd on the other hand is a natural.
Wow, an actual qualified weather presenter. I see her on our local WIN station, she’s very good.
She’s a breath of fresh air.
Why not just put David Brown back in his rightful spot at the 6pm news ?
Thank goodness Jo Bailey has gone. She was car crash TV.
