18 Comments:

  1. Watched F1 from startnto end on ONE and loved it.
    Recorded Downton Abbey
Watched Empire on 10 and recorded Sharktank and watched afterbEmpire.
Good night for Ten. Wondering why people did not watch on ONE with superior picture quality. Yes I compared 10 and 1 and gladly chose ONE 🙂
Signs now that Ten is on the way up this year and I dor one am glad about that. Pay TV F1 numbers are pathetic imho.

    • The font for typing a post, is so small now for this website, that I have trouble proof reading be4 posting. Never used to be that bad 🙁

      • Secret Squïrrel

You can zoom the screen on (probably) all browsers. It’ll be in a menu or under options / tools / a little pic of a gear wheel, or you could just try holding the Ctrl / Command key down and moving the scroll wheel on your mouse.

  2. Maev....Sydney

I was watching ONE on and off during the day…and watched the race….
Last night I watched Australia: The Story of Us and Downtown…as I did not want to fight with Seven’s catchup site again…
    I then watched Shark Tank…which I am enjoying….

    • Maev....Sydney

Me…missed half an hour….received a text to watch…friend has it on DVD…but I was watching F1 in between and missed end of Phantom as the F1 race was starting…

  3. Secret Squïrrel

Numbers are down for F1. Wouldn’t have helped that there were only 15 cars that made it to the start and 2 of those got taken out on the first lap. Also wouldn’t have helped that Aussie Dan’s new engine has about as much power as ACMA and the driveability of a shopping trolley. Add in that on this track the only overtaking occurs when someone pits or the leaders lap the slower cars and you have prob the most boring race on the calendar.

  4. I don’t watch The Block anymore but wonder why it’s coded as two separate sections? Isn’t the Sunday show traditionally just a reveal…usually over 40 minutes of the show – with the first 20 or so minutes just fluff. Or is the last part where scores are announced the second part? Very confusing. I can (sort of) understand ‘winner announced’ being divided on IACGMOOH like other reality show finales but a normal episode of The Block – it doesn’t make sense to me. Does anyone know the answer to this?

      • Why don’t the networks cut to the chase and just code every show in 5 minute segments. That would give higher peak audiences and the night’s top rating show would fill all the top spots. MKR would be the top 72 shows each week.

      • To me either you watch a show or you don’t. I don’t think it is actually good for a show to say 1.2mil watched the end result but less were watching the actual show and even fewer all season.

It’s like if an extra 50% of people turn up to the last minutes of a footy game – as in to see who wins – they haven’t cared for the rest of the game – so are they really interested?

        • Appreciate all your comments. It is so strategic and makes viewers appear dumb – TV Tonight readers are not!

          @Andrew B – very valid on both points 🙂

  5. wellinmyopinion

If TEN did not simulcast the entire day ( F1 on ONE and IAC on 11) they may have had a chance at Seven.
I know adjustment will be made but a great number for Shark Tank. love that show.
